Daikaiju, a band from Huntsville, Alabama, played a fiery set at El-Rocko on November 9th. While they call themselves “surf-rock”, to my ear, this band is progressive metal, a bit of post-rock, all instrumental – and they can really shred. Crowd surfing, kabuki masks, and they set their tour van on fire – what’s not to love? Here are some of the photos I got:
